x-8 fried?

Plugged a 6v adapter into my x-8h instead of the 5v adapter that came with it. Still banging my head against the wall for doing it!
When I finally plugged in the correct adapter and pressed the power button, the blue power light just kept flashing.
Now nothing happens when I power the unit on.
Is there hope for a resurrection or is my unit officially fried?
