So my problem is as follows:
1) I'm still on the product shipped firmware version from 2014 --> Hence attempting to update the thing
2) Tried the version 009 directly --> The machine won't recognize the zip file in the USB stick while in recovery mode (The stick is in FAT32 format)
- So, at this stage i'm thinking this must be some firmware version issue (even though this sort of issue shouldn't affect it in any way)
3) Then tried to go the Version 002 route in the GUI...
X8 - USB update problem - zip not visible in recovery
